Hi all!!! My name is Vanessa Nowicki. I was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV.  I have played softball since I was 6 years old. I went on to play for Bishop Gorman High School. From there I went to the University of Nevada Reno and graduated with a journalism degree with a focus on public relations.  However, I followed my passion and became a hairdresser.  I have been a small business owner now for the past 15 years.  In the meantime I married my best friend and had two awesome boys, Dominic and Nico.  Both Dominic and Nico share my love for baseball. Since both boys were 4 years old I have helped coach their teams in the Paseo Verde Little League and have loved every minute of it.   I come from a long line of ball players.  My grandmother played professional baseball as a catcher in Cuba.  My brother played baseball and coached little league for 10 years, and finally my nephew played baseball as a catcher/pitcher from the time he was 4 years old until he was in high school at Bishop Gorman. Baseball is not only a passion in our family, but it’s something we all do for fun and we love teaching others!
